WHY ?
What I love about cinema is its complexity. I see it as an art form that comes with a large toolbox that can be used to do anything. With it, you can tell anything, convey any emotion, and make any idea understood. I love making movies, telling stories, telling how I see the world, sharing emotions. Because, above all, cinema is about sharing emotions.
Hope
This film is about hope. It tells the story of a girl, Romy, who has a very unpleasant life. Her ex cheated on her with her best friend, her mother abandoned her at the age of 8, and she hates her job and her life in general. And it's when you've lost all interest in everything that she meets Hope, a girl full of innocence who knows nothing. In Hope, we follow the story of these two girls and how they both manage to lift each other up.
